Rodrigo Hanna

From Marketing Intern in Brazil to Leader of BD Biosciences for EMEA in Switzerland, Rodrigo Hanna has climbed the ranks, vertically and laterally, in his own way. Working with his managers at every step of his career, he’s been able to determine the best career path for him. With an interest in medical technology and the ambition to progress quickly and agilely, Rodrigo came into the company young and hungry for success. He made a name for himself with the support of managers and peers alike, developing a career blueprint while diving headfirst into roles he sometimes had to learn about on the job, using his skills in management and problem solving to fully embrace each new challenge.

The innovative nature of BD, along with the prospect of bringing better medical practices to the world, continues to pique Rodrigo’s interest. Having experienced many changes and movements throughout his career, he’s now in a leadership position that allows him to pass on his knowledge to others – much like his leaders once did for him.

Celine Broutin


Celine is a role model for those wishing to balance home life and work, while continuously progressing and leading the transformation of entire business segments. Starting at BD as a HR Trainee Intern while studying at Business School in Grenoble, Celine has grown her career and the teams she has led by leaning on her business and HR knowledge. With her career taking her across multiple segments and various geographies – from her hometown in France to the US and Switzerland – she has embraced every opportunity. The enthusiasm and positive attitude of the company only enhanced her passion for progression when on her career journey, leading to big responsibilities and leadership opportunities at the age of only 26, and ultimately to her current role as VP HR EMEA.

A highlight for Celine at BD has been the times when family life seamlessly integrates with work life. The support and integrity her leaders showed when Celine began her family instilled that feeling of pride for working within BD’s many leadership teams.

David Clerkin

Senior Engineering & NPA Operations Manager (BD Enniscorthy)

David loves a challenge. From taking on a senior position soon after joining ClearStream and doubling our capabilities in Enniscorthy when Bard took over, to managing a team of 40 once BD took over Bard. David is also currently studying for an MBA in order to delve into the business side of our organization.

With 19+ years’ experience in engineering, David has covered an entire spectrum of work. Using his problem-solving, collaboration and leadership skills, he has built up an impressive resume. He’s managed and engineered the build of a new site. He’s shown that he is unafraid to take accountability when leading a team through multiple company acquisitions. And, he has dived into one opportunity after another, moving beyond comfort zones to reach results. This is how he has empowered his team. All of this has been possible because of the support from his managers, the trust they have instilled in him and their realization of his potential – all leading to international exposure.
